Council approves consent agenda appointing members to water, power and special-service boards

On consent the council approved five appointments: Clark Fawcett to the Washington County Water Conservancy District board, Joseph Preet to the Ash Creek Special Service District board, Drew Ellerman to the Hurricane Valley Fire SSD board, Clark Foster to the Hurricane City Water Board, and David Hershey to the Hurricane City Power Board.
The council approved the consent agenda to confirm or appoint local representatives to several interlocal and city advisory boards. Resolutions adopted (on consent) cover the following appointments: Clark Fawcett to the Washington County Water Conservancy District board (appointment coordinated with Washington County Commissioners); Joseph Preet to the Ash Creek Special Service District board; Drew Ellerman to the Hurricane Valley Fire Special Service District board; Clark Foster to the Hurricane City Water Board; and David Hershey to the Hurricane City Power Board.
Council gave staff latitude to continue rotating board opportunities among council appointees and community members in future meetings. No member requested separate consideration of any consent item.
