Monticello —4 The Monticello School Board on a 6-0 vote adopted the district—s final payable-2025 property tax levy totaling $14,394,955.04, a reduction of roughly $157,000 (approximately 1%).
Director of Business Services Tina Burkholder presented the final levy figure and said no changes had occurred since the district—s Truth in Taxation hearing. "Our final projected levy for payable 2025 is $14,394,955.04, which is a decrease of $157,000 or minus 1 percent," Burkholder said. The board voted to approve the levy so staff could submit required filings to county and state offices.
Board members made a procedural motion to approve the levy. Jeff Hegley moved the motion; Jamie Seben seconded, and the vote was unanimous.
The district will transmit the final levy to the county and state per routine deadlines; no supplemental levy changes were reported during the meeting.
