Members suggested rewording to avoid naming neighborhoods in a way that could be perceived as prescriptive; the committee agreed to change the phrasing to identify communities most impacted by disasters. The amended language was approved unanimously and will be included in the packet to the full county board. Staff (land use) will provide the finalized phrasing for the agenda packet.
