Committee asks staff to co‑locate administrative regulations with policies in BoardDocs
Summary
Members requested that Administrative Regulations (ARs) be attached to their corresponding policies in BoardDocs so reviewers and the public can find policy and its implementing regulation in one place; staff said they will consult BoardDocs support and begin attaching ARs where feasible.

Committee members discussed the district’s administrative regulations (ARs) and the user experience of locating ARs in BoardDocs.
Elizabeth and other members said ARs should be attached directly to the related policy entry so that a single click reveals both the policy and any implementing ARs, rather than requiring users to navigate separate drop‑down menus. Christine and other staff said they have been working with PSBA and BoardDocs to compare available ARs with the district’s current regulations and to post matched ARs; staff noted some ARs are redundant with policy language and that they are systematically reviewing which ARs to adopt and attach.
The committee asked staff to pursue BoardDocs configuration options that allow ARs to be nested or attached beneath each policy and to return with a plan for improving access. Staff said they will consult with BoardDocs support and, if possible, post ARs as attachments under their corresponding policy entries.
