Staff said the tuition‑approval process and repayment language already exist in the CBA and other ARs; the committee asked that the policy include a pointer to those documents so reviewers can find the procedure quickly.
Staff will draft revised wording that distinguishes routine professional learning from degree coursework, references the tuition‑approval procedure and the applicable CBA language, and returns it to the committee for review.
