The Idaho Falls City Council on Feb. 13 approved the purchase of commercial water‑meter materials totaling $402,857.66.
Director Pam Alexander presented a bid tabulation showing six bidders; staff recommended the lowest responsible bidders by section — Core & Main and Ferguson Waterworks — and asked the council to approve the total purchase amount. Alexander noted the tabulation was large and detailed and councilors relied on the electronic packet for full review.
The council moved and approved the purchasing recommendation by roll call. Staff said the materials will support water division operations and inventory replenishment.
