Board Approves 10-Year Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Plan; Joins NE Metro 916 LTFM Budget

Director Hennekens returned the district27s 10-year long-term facilities maintenance plan for board approval. The plan had been reviewed previously at the May 27 meeting. Hennekens told the board the approved plan must be submitted to receive related state LTFM revenue and that the district27s portion of the Northeast Metro 916 intermediate district levy (used because intermediate districts lack levy authority) is approximately 3.6% of the 9-16 share this year.
The board also approved a separate resolution authorizing inclusion of the district27s proportional share (approximately $21,002.86 — as read in the packet) in Northeast Metro 91627s long-term facility maintenance budget. Both actions passed on board motions and roll-call votes.
Board members said they had previously discussed the plan at length, that questions were addressed at May meetings, and that the plan guides capital priorities across the district27s buildings.
The approved 10-year plan and Northeast Metro 916 resolution will be posted with the board packet and submitted to necessary state agencies to secure LTFM revenue.
