Thomas E. Frattonardo: The committee voted to close file on communication 5‑9‑2 and forward a favorable recommendation for Thomas E. Frattonardo to the Windward Planning Commission (term to expire Dec. 31, 2027). Frattonardo described his background as a Marine Corps veteran, former Hawaii County police officer and community volunteer; he said affordable housing and land stewardship would be priorities if confirmed. The committee recorded seven ayes; Councilmembers Inaba and Kimball were excused.
Other actions: The committee closed file on communication 40.3 (Hawaii State Association of Counties executive committee minutes) and on communication 358 (formation and work of the county auditor ad hoc committee).
