Enoch approves cooperative building-inspection agreement with Parowan

The Enoch City Council on Sept. 17 approved a cooperative agreement to provide building-inspection services to Parowan City after the county informed Parowan it would no longer provide inspection coverage.
City Manager Robert Dotson said Parowan's existing inspector is certified only for residential inspections and that the first phase of cooperation would likely involve Enoch personnel spending more time in Enoch while providing training and mentoring to Parowan's inspector, Kieth. "For this first phase, Kieth would probably spend more time here helping us than Lynn going to Parowan," Dotson said. Building official Lynn Nielson described the agreement as helpful for staffing and training.
Council Member David Harris moved to approve Resolution No. 2025-09-17-B; Council Member Katherine Ross seconded. The roll-call vote was unanimous.
