Resident urges Lockhart to identify central shuttle drop‑off and restrooms for event visitors

"A very well lit centralized area would help prevent traffic congestion, reduce pedestrian risk, and ensure safer drop offs, especially at night," Warren said. She suggested siting the hub near shops and restaurants to encourage visitors to explore and spend locally and recommended the city evaluate funding sources and the addition of public restrooms near the site for bus drivers and guests.
The speaker said she had spoken with bus companies and described a recent instance where a tour group staged on private parking because a public facility was not available. The comment was advisory; council did not take action during the meeting but staff and council members acknowledged the suggestion for possible follow‑up.
