The Santa Rosa City Council on Feb. 4 received a final summary report from SEED Collaborative and city staff outlining 29 approved implementation strategies to carry out the city's equity plan and a proposed structure for tracking progress.
SEED Collaborative senior consultant Paul Hudson told the council the implementation plan "is the result of hundreds of city employees and thousands of countless hours in deliberation discussion, co creation, and consensus decisions." Culture and EEO Officer Francesca Roberson said the strategies aim to support staff, strengthen recruitment and retention, and improve language access and public engagement.
