Lincoln County reauthorizes ARP expenditures, authorizes transfers to obligate remaining funds

Finance Director Ernie Doss told commissioners the county still had ARP funds to obligate and asked the board to reauthorize several prior expenditures and transfers so the funds could be recorded correctly.
The board reauthorized a previous payment of $46,264.94 to Parrish Technology for server upgrades (previously paid from SPLOST 7) and a payment of $10,200 to 911 DataMaster for ALI software support to be reauthorized from the 911 fund to the ARP fund. Commissioners also reauthorized $20,749.08 to Parrish Technology for server hardware (to remain on SPLOST 7) and authorized reimbursing $45,344.79 toward the down payment for the Ag Arena bedding building out of the ARP fund to be restored to the agriculture grant account. In addition, the board authorized the chairman and the finance director to make additional reauthorizations between funds as needed to fully obligate the county's remaining ARP balance.
Director Doss reported the remaining ARP balance as $190,000,771.07 (as stated in the meeting) and explained this was the amount staff wanted to ensure was fully obligated and documented. Commissioners approved the requested reauthorizations and granted staff authority to make final adjustments to obligate all funds before the federal deadline.
