Hernando County VAB hears multiple Spring Hill-area value appeals; petitioners challenge appraiser's comparables and cost adjustments

A second session of the Hernando County Value Adjustment Board hearing reviewed a sequence of taxpayer petitions challenging 2025 property assessments for multiple Spring Hill and nearby parcels. For example, for petition 25-066 the appraiser listed a just value of $291,450 (parcel R323231752401615) and provided a sales-comparison packet; the petitioner said his evidence indicated a value near $268,000.
