Board approves out‑of‑state travel for coaches and district administrators

The district said Glazier provides meeting space and meals; attendees will receive up to 24 hours of continuing education credit.
Leadership conference: Kimberly Dugdale, district CFO, requested permission to attend an Arizona School Business Officials leadership retreat in Tampa. She said all expenses for that trip are paid by the association. The board approved both travel items unanimously.
Motions for each travel item were made and seconded during the meeting and passed by voice vote. The administration said the trips are professional development opportunities intended to benefit coaching and district business operations; no additional district budget figures were presented during the discussion.
