The Ada County Board of Commissioners recorded the following formal actions during its Nov. 4, 2025 meeting. All actions below reflect motions made on the public record during the session and were approved by voice vote unless otherwise noted.
Votes at a glance
- Proclamation: Designated Nov. 22, 2025, as National Adoption Day in Ada County; motion carried on voice vote.
- Appointments: Two reappointments (Stacy DuPis and Michelle Owens Kella Owens) and one new appointment (Richard Beck) to the Compass Regional Transportation Advisory Committee (terms to expire 12/31/2026); motion carried.
- Contract award: Bid 26003 (Ada County Victim Services Center tenant improvements) awarded to Triple G Construction Inc., $230,884 (see separate report).
- Resolutions (approved): Resolution 3136 (adjust American Rescue Plan Act budget), Resolution 3138 (adjust county budget to receive one-time revenue to Emergency Management), Resolution 3139 (establish process for allocating landfill financial assurance funds), Resolution 3140 (convey surplus office chairs to the Idaho State Public Defender).
- Licenses and claims: Approved one new alcohol license and one license transfer (Grocery Outlet Overland) following sheriff's recommendation; approved the county claims journal dated 10/31/2025.
- Personnel: Approved personnel adjustments and a set of 39 salary adjustments under a new transparency process; five adjustments exceeded budget authority and required internal funding reallocation.
- Tax and property actions: Approved a batch of tax cancellations to be reflected on tax bills; approved two quitclaim deeds for parcels sold at public auction (parcels R2734750012 and S0333110061), and recorded excess proceeds ($1,962.77) for the higher-priced sale.
- Landfill: Approved a contractor request to accept biosolids generated at Mountain Home Air Force Base at the Ada County Landfill (estimated small annual volume).
- Liens and agreements: Approved five weed-and-pest lien notices, interim agreements with Expo Idaho and 12 additional county agreements (mix of renewals and new contracts). Weekly indigent items were also approved.
