He demonstrated locating a student-attire/dress-code policy (policy 5302 in the demonstration) and then showed how to view and download an open-enrollment application and other forms. For many forms the district now offers fillable PDFs: users can download, fill, save and email or fax the completed form to district offices. Patton noted that some items, such as the Chromebook acknowledgement form tied to registration, are available for direct online submission and are routed to the appropriate district office automatically.
Board members asked whether forms can be submitted electronically. Patton said fillable PDFs can be completed and emailed; fully web-submittable forms exist for selected items and the district is exploring further online submission capabilities.
