The Greer County Board of Commissioners approved a package of administrative items during its July 28 meeting, including a supplemental agreement with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, two transfers of appropriations and routine procurement and payroll approvals.
The board voted to approve the minutes from the July 21, 2025 special meeting. Mark Barnes moved to approve the minutes and Brent York seconded. The roll call was Brent York—aye; Mark Barnes—aye; Steven Fite—abstained; the motion carried.
Commissioners approved a motion to meet with OSU Extension Coordinator Cheryl Lively (motion by Steven Fite; second Mark Barnes) and a motion to meet with Greer County Sheriff Steve McMahan (motion by Mark Barnes; second Steven Fite). Both procedural motions carried by unanimous vote.
By unanimous votes the board approved the OK.EMGrants Access Authorization Form for the Emergency Management Director; the transfer of appropriations moving District #1, District #2 and District #3 insurance accounts to District #4 insurance (ACCO‑SIG fees were referenced); and a transfer moving General Government ST maintenance & operations, retirement and personal services to General Government ST insurance (ACCO‑SIG fees referenced). Dollar amounts for those transfers were not specified in the meeting record.
The board approved the State of Oklahoma Department of Transportation Supplement and Modification Agreement No. 1, Project No. STP‑228C(035)CI, by motion of Mark Barnes with a second from Steven Fite. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners also approved issuance of blanket purchase orders and approved payroll by unanimous votes.
