ALRB executive secretary lists recent complaints, administrative orders and pending enforcement requests

The Agricultural Labor Relations Board's executive secretary, Santiago Avila Gomez, told the board on Aug. 29 that several complaints and administrative orders were resolved and others remain pending.
"I'll begin with, complaints. The first is a settled complaint in Valadale Dairy, and that case number is 2023CE028VIS," Santiago Avila Gomez said, describing a settled matter that has been removed from the hearing calendar. He also reported a complaint filed Aug. 22 against Moochie Farms Inc. (also referred to in the record with an alternative name); that matter has an answer on file and a hearing is being set.
Avila Gomez listed three administrative orders issued since the last meeting. On Aug. 25 the board issued ALRB administrative order 2025-10 in SoloMeal Inc., granting the general counsel's request for subpoena enforcement in case 2023DE002VIS. Also on Aug. 25 the board issued administrative order 2025-11 in Synagro Farms, approving a formal bilateral settlement submitted to resolve the board's earlier decision in 48 ALRB No. 2 (case 2017CE008SAL). On Aug. 27 the board issued administrative order 2025-12 in Wonderful Nurseries LLC, approving an investigative hearing examiner's recommendation that the board seek judicial enforcement of a subpoena in case 2024-RM-002.
Avila Gomez further said briefing is complete on the general counsel's request for enforcement of a subpoena in the Moochie Farms matter and that the issue is now pending before the board. He noted some names in the transcript were pronounced informally during the meeting and that the ALRB website provides the official filings and documents for the matters he summarized.
The executive secretary said the items he reported and the administrative orders referenced are available under the meetings tab on the ALRB website and invited questions; none were raised.
