The Town of Saint John Plan Commission heard an update on Rose Garden Unit 3 Block 3 (2024-18), a final plat submittal, during its July 2 study session. Retta, the applicant representative with EVG, told the commission the plat has been reviewed and that remaining construction items are being resolved.
Retta said the development has modified the plan for the last two lots and that, "the asphalts were submitted today." She also said a street light fixture for the site is on back order and that erosion-control measures were recently completed.
Town staff confirmed the plat previously received primary-plat approval and described three outstanding items that had been included in a performance-bond calculation: erosion control, the street light, and as-builts. The applicant reported the surety bond was dropped off and that the remaining development fee would be paid at the clerk's office.
No formal action was taken at the study session. The commission and the applicant agreed the item will return for the commission's meeting on the 16th for further action once the remaining items and surety are in order.
