Fredericksburg ISD trustees approve HVAC replacement, moving vendor and multiple resolutions; May board election canceled after certification

The Fredericksburg Independent School District Board of Trustees on March 10 approved a set of consent and action items, including awarding a high-school HVAC replacement contract, designating a mover for the new middle school, adopting district resolutions, and canceling the May 3 trustee election after certifying unopposed candidates.

Board President Mark Cornett called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and trustees heard district reports and recognition items before moving to the consent agenda. Trustee Brian Lehne moved to approve the consent agenda, and Trustee Keri Hensley seconded. The motion passed, yea 7, against 0.

The board then certified unopposed candidates for the May 3, 2025, school board trustee election and voted to approve an order of cancellation for that election. Presenter Jill Minshew reported the certification. Trustee Taylor Ward moved to approve certification of unopposed candidates; Judge Edwards seconded.
