Wen said most changes correct mapping errors or reflect existing development rather than proposing new policy directions. Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the relationship between future land‑use designations and zoning and staff reiterated that the future land‑use map guides, but does not itself change, zoning; rezoning would be required for any change of allowed uses.
