Warren County Fiscal Court approves routine items and emergency repairs; votes largely unanimous

Warren County Fiscal Court approved a series of routine agenda items and emergency procurements during its July 10 meeting, with votes recorded by roll call and no recorded dissent.

The court approved the treasurer nd interfund transfers, accepted a quarterly financial report, and authorized advertising for bids or RFPs on several projects, including: stormwater quality improvements at Basil Griffin Park (OSG grant funded) and a request for proposals for a feasibility study at the Warren County Regional Jail (motion: Aldridge; second: Cummings). The fiscal court also approved Resolution 25‑06, a Community Development Block Grant application for the Down Syndrome Center of Southern Kentucky, and a grant agreement with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture to support the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society spay‑neuter program.

Claims presented by the treasurer totaled: General Fund $2,266,635; Road Fund $658,017; Jail Fund $652,173; Stormwater Fund $62,536; LGA Fund $173,750. The court moved to pair and approve bills and claims by roll call.
