The Ada County Board of Commissioners accepted a withdrawal of Doc All Resources' bid for Bid 25024 (landfill horizontal gas piping materials) and approved a re-award on Feb. 18.
Procurement staff said Doc All Resources told the county it could not fulfill the order as priced; the company had omitted shipping costs from its bid. The board accepted the withdrawal and moved to re-award the purchases to the next-lowest bidders.
A procurement letter dated Feb. 18 recommended awarding the HDPE thermal fusion division to Telecommunications Utility Procurement Services LLC for $1,397.90 and the HDPE electro-fusion division to Core & Main for $255. Commissioners moved and approved the re-award and the associated dollar amounts as presented.
Board members noted budget monitoring and asked the controller to track appropriations related to the awards.
