A Cal Fire union representative cautioned the board that consolidation could displace personnel and urged continued involvement of Cal Fire employees and local volunteers in any transition. The board adopted two resolutions initiating the application to the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) and instructing staff to proceed with required steps.
