Hoover City Council elects leadership, confirms appointments and adopts new rules

The council also approved Ordinance No. 252682 to repeal the city council rules of procedure in the municipal code and to repeal conflicting ordinances; the council then adopted the new rules and procedures by Resolution No. 8648-25. Councilmember Jean Smith asked that the new rules be posted on the city website; City Clerk Wendy Dickerson confirmed it would be posted.
