Litchfield board re-elects Melissa Zaidema and approves administrative authorizations to speed operations

Melissa Zaidema was re-elected president of the Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board at the board's organizational meeting on Jan. 14, 2025. Zaidema then took the oath of office and announced she will serve another year as president.

The board approved a series of administrative authorizations designed to let the district continue routine business between meetings. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Vaughn described the warrant-execution resolution as a continuity measure that allows the district to issue checks and meet payment obligations between regular board meetings.
