Staff will finalize project lists and county match funding.
Budget and settlement - FY 2025-26 final budget: The board opened the public hearing and adopted the final budget; staff described a $61.8 million general-fund budget and noted ongoing vacancy-management to control costs (motion to adopt by Supervisor Crew; approved by vote). - Buena Vista Biomass Power tax settlement: Board approved a payment plan settlement for secured and unsecured taxes to enable possible future investment at the plant (motion approved; recorded vote included one abstention).
Other - Code enforcement requested $3,000 to host a no-cost shred event for residents; the board discussed alternatives, suggested donations and existing private providers; no county-funded free-shred event was approved during the meeting.
