The Christian County Commission on Sept. 25 adopted a proclamation declaring Sept. 28 through Oct. 4, 2025, as Good Neighbor Week in Christian County. Presiding Commissioner Lynn A. Morris read the proclamation, citing the county’s volunteer tradition and the state designation enacted by the governor three years ago.
Commissioners said this year’s action is a proclamation only; they plan to develop a nomination and awards program for future years and to involve local businesses and civic groups. The motion to adopt the proclamation was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
