Commission accepts five-year fiber-services bid from Spectrum

Staff said the annex and courthouse rate would be $775 per month, the jail $775 per month, and Road & Bridge $560 per month under the new contract, bringing the county's total monthly billed amount down from $2,820 to $2,670 across the sites cited.
A motion to accept the five-year Spectrum bid was made and approved by voice vote. Staff said the county can opt for a shorter term at a higher price but recommended the five-year term based on prior service and vendor performance.
Commission direction: staff to finalize and execute the contract with Spectrum and return the executed agreement to the commission for the record.
