Settlement and mutual release agreement: 112 West Jefferson LC LLC The board approved a settlement and mutual release agreement resolving a contract dispute with 112 West Jefferson LC LLC. Hospital authority appointment A letter from Beacon Hospital regarding an appointment to the hospital authority was not found in the packet; the board moved and approved a motion to table the appointment for the next meeting. Snow-and-ice management services award (2025–26) Physical Assets Director Fre Roberts recommended awarding the snow-and-ice management contract to Kerr Tree Service LLC after two responsive bids were received. The contract is priced as a per-push fee at each facility. The board approved the award by voice vote.
Commercial credit card agreement (UMB Bank) Katie Bishop, finance director, presented a contract with UMB Bank for Visa payable automation. Bishop said the program costs the county no money, is voluntary for vendors and may produce a small revenue stream. The board approved the contract by voice vote.
Procedure notes Where the board discussed procurement thresholds, staff noted that some spring repairs will likely require formal bid procedures under state statute unless an emergency declaration is used. For tabling and approvals, motions were made and passed by majority voice vote.
