Staff also reported the facility’s annual two-week shutdown for maintenance: the learner pool was drained so crews could address a flow-valve issue, stainless steel surfaces were cleaned, locker rooms repainted and floor paint refreshed. Staff said the facility is scheduled to reopen on Monday the 17th.
No formal actions were taken on events or maintenance; commissioners encouraged volunteering and promotion of community activities.
