Marshfield Board of Public Works approves RFP for real-estate acquisition services covering three DOT projects

At its March 1 meeting, the Marshfield Board of Public Works approved a request-for-proposal to hire a real-estate acquisition consultant to support three overlapping Department of Transportation projects, Presenter Josh Marowitz said.

Marowitz, the meeting presenter, said the RFP covers work on Vine Avenue from Fourteenth Street to Fourth Street, Vine Avenue from Second Street to Fourth Street, and Fourth Street from Maple Avenue to Peach Avenue. "This is almost identical to what we discussed 2 weeks ago," Marowitz said, and the RFP was written to solicit a single consultant to perform the three projects consecutively so shared easements and property work would not be duplicated.
