Votes at a glance: advisory board approves prior minutes and retains quarterly 2026 meeting schedule

The Clearwater Library Advisory Board voted on two procedural items at its Nov. 6 meeting: approval of the previous meeting's minutes and a motion to continue the board's 2026 meeting schedule as quarterly on the first Thursday of each designated month.

Donna Dennis, chair, called for a motion to approve the minutes; the motion was made and seconded and the board approved the minutes by voice vote. Later in the meeting, Tanya Landry moved to continue the long-standing quarterly meeting schedule beginning Feb. 2026; the motion was seconded and the board approved the measure.

Board members discussed the scheduling item in the context of the pending consolidation ordinance. Several members said they would support moving to an every-other-month cadence if consolidation proceeds and community involvement increases; for now, the board voted to retain the traditional quarterly dates and asked the director to circulate a draft 2026 schedule by email.
