BDD reports October diversions, capital projects, staffing moves and audit timeline

At the Nov. 6 meeting the Buckman Direct Diversion Board received its regular monthly operations and facilities updates.
Matt reported that water diversions averaged about 3,240,000 gallons per day in October 2025, drinking-water deliveries through Booster Stations 4A and 5A averaged about 2,900,000 gallons per day, and raw water delivered to Las Campanas through Booster Station 2A averaged about 210,000 gallons per day. He noted BDD provided 29.1% of the city and county—s drinking water for October.
Facilities manager Bradley reviewed capital and maintenance work. Vehicle-replacement quotes are being processed and a previously discussed loader delivery has been delayed to December due to supply-chain issues. Staff are finalizing an RFP for replacement of a programmable logic controller (PLC) and expect to post the RFP shortly. On finance and audit, Bradley said staff are working with CliftonLarsonAllen and CRI on the FY25 audit and expect it to be completed before December. On staffing, the chemist posting closed Nov. 5 and the contracts-administrator reclassification becomes effective Nov. 8; other vacancies remain under active recruitment.
Board members asked about scheduling an exit interview as part of the audit process; staff said they would confirm CRI—s timeline and get back to the chair and vice chair with available dates.
