The site is designated Suburban on the county future land use map and is located in the Iona-McGregor planning community area.
Staff told the board that the hearing examiner recommended approval with conditions and that ten public participants were listed in the record. In response to a commissioner question, staff confirmed that all RV sites will be connected to central utilities (water, sewer, electric) and that no on-site septic systems will be used.
During public comment several registered participants were called and then a commissioner moved to approve the hearing examiner's recommendation; the motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
Any required construction permits, utility connections and development-order conditions will be reviewed in follow-up stages. The hearing record shows staff and applicant present to answer questions about utilities and site improvements.
