Planning and Zoning elects Spencer Wilt chair, O'Mear Tamir vice chair

The Highland Village Planning and Zoning Commission elected Commissioner Spencer Wilt as chair and Commissioner O'Mear Tamir as vice chair during its Oct. 21, 2025 meeting.
Commissioners opened the floor for nominations; Wilt and Tamir were nominated and the motion was seconded. Commissioners voted unanimously in favor. The commission then approved the minutes of the Aug. 19, 2025 regular meeting.
The elections occurred at the start of the meeting as part of organizational business; commissioners quickly moved into the regular agenda, including a site-plan review for 2150 Village Parkway and a final plat for the Magnolia Village subdivision. No public commenters spoke during the meeting.
