MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Monongalia County Commission voted Nov. 5 to delegate authority to County Administrator Reneta McClure to execute all documents and carry out necessary steps to implement the county's Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICRA) service agreement with Take Command Health.
Commissioners said the technical and electronic tasks required to set up the ICRA accounts were substantial and that delegating authority would allow staff to complete autopay enrollment, connect the county's health insurance clearing account to Take Command's banking partners and finish other onboarding steps. The motion specifically referenced the service agreement approved Oct. 17, 2025.
The motion passed unanimously. County staff told employees to expect open-enrollment invitations by email beginning Friday, Nov. 7, and a staff webinar at 9 a.m. Monday to answer questions. The enrollment window was described as running from Nov. 7 through Nov. 21; staff encouraged employees to check personal email and spam folders and to contact the county if credentials do not arrive.
