City water-department staff said the Hanley Well, originally drilled in 1990, houses a vertical turbine pump whose motor sits above ground; rehabilitation work will remove, inspect and clean the column pipe, line shaft and pump components and perform a downhole video inspection to confirm casing and screen condition.
