The motion to adopt a resolution authorizing the appropriation and to allow the EDA chair and treasurer to execute necessary documents was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded dissents.
Staff said the study would identify regional competitive advantages in life sciences, national security, and digital information technology, and produce a strategic road map with actionable steps and a consultant timeline that would deliver a final plan in 2026.
