Staff described a request from a property owner to rezone a split-zoned parcel at 400 Creekside Drive (Map 071 D Group A Parcel 003) so the front and back of the property would share a single zone. The front had previously been zoned high-density PUD and the rear C-2; the applicant asked that the lot be consolidated under a low-density PUD or equivalent, noting the high-density PUD category no longer exists in the city’s zoning code.
The planning commission gave a favorable recommendation, 5–0, on Oct. 21, 2025. Staff described the lot as small (about a half acre) and said the request was mainly to make the parcel uniformly zoned and to consolidate it into a single lot.
The council placed the item on the Tuesday agenda for formal consideration without objection.
