Resident tells commissioners agenda links to policies are hard to find
Summary

During public comment at the Strafford County Board of Commissioners meeting, a resident identified as Susan urged the board to make meeting materials easier to find online, saying the three policies discussed that morning were not readily accessible from the agenda page.
"You pride yourself, George, on being transparent, but yet we had 3 policies come before this committee today. And there isn't a link on your agenda so that we can see them ahead of time nor is there the opportunity for public comment," Susan said. She added that the county website is difficult to navigate for those unfamiliar with it and asked that meeting agendas include direct links to documents.
A staff member responded that the policies had been posted in advance under the finance department and said the county would add a link to the agenda page to make documents easier to find.
The resident comment is limited to website navigation and document access; no formal action was taken as a result of the comment.
