Building department reports solar permit pending payment, residential application under review near new school

The building department provided a written update at the Nov. 6 meeting. Permit technician Kristen Bushnell reported engineered drawings for the Bluff Fort project are forthcoming and that Bluff Dwellings has been approved for a solar permit but that payment was outstanding so the permit had not yet been activated. JCM Construction has submitted a residential application for 3rd West (near the new elementary school), which is under review.
Staff asked commissioners to forward questions via email to the building department and noted that redlines on several ordinances remain under review by staff and legal counsel.
