The shutter would measure 14 feet high by 12 feet wide with 5-inch spacing between shutters and a 62-square-foot copy area; landscaping enhancements were also proposed along Panther National Boulevard. Berglier said the project’s site plan and guardhouse architecture had prior approvals and that the Planning & Zoning Appeals Board unanimously recommended approval on Oct. 14.
A council member asked whether the logo resembled the University of Oregon "O" mark; staff said any trademark issues would be the applicant’s responsibility. After brief discussion the council voted 5-0 to approve the resolution and waiver.
Resolution 80-2025 was adopted with conditions of approval noted in the official file.
