Planning commission continues ProTrans variance-of-use request to Nov. 20

On Nov. 6 the El Paso County Planning Commission voted unanimously to continue agenda item 5a (VA253), a variance-of-use request for ProTrans, to the Nov. 20 meeting. The continuance was requested by planning staff and the motion to continue passed by unanimous voice vote.

Commissioner Jack moved to continue the item to Nov. 20; the motion was seconded and Commissioners Schippel, Fuller, Jack, Whitney and Chair Jay Carlson voted to continue. Planning staff had asked for a continuance to a date certain of Nov. 20; the commission recorded that continuance during the meeting and no substantive action on the variance was taken at this hearing.

Because the commission continued the item, staff will carry the record and any updated materials to the Nov. 20 meeting for further consideration. The public record and staff packet should be consulted for the precise reason(s) staff requested the continuance, and for any updated project materials filed before the Nov. 20 hearing.
