Orderville administration reports King County Sheriff's Office billing increase, Nov. 12 canvass and November audit schedule

Administrator said the town has been paying $7,500 per quarter; a revised billing schedule will raise the quarterly amount to $11,250 (equivalent to $45,000 per year) beginning with the second quarter on the schedule. The administrator also noted that during the next fiscal-year change the invoicing may increase again and that an estimated quarterly cost of about $15,000 was discussed as a future level.
Staff announced a special meeting for Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. to canvass the election and said auditors will be in November for the annual audit. The office will be closed on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and for Thanksgiving (Nov. 27). No board votes were required for these administrative items during the meeting.
