- Approval of minutes: Motion by Tom Duffy, second by Stacy Hessel. Outcome: approved.
- CEP loan repayment: Motion to require repayment of a $5,000 county loan to Northwest Wisconsin SEP. Mover: Stacy Hessel. Second: Mark Hellwig. Outcome: approved.
- Adoption of the 2026 Sawyer County budget and the 2025 property tax levy to be collected in 2026 ($15,925,777), including the FTE count, fee schedule, capital improvement summary and compensation plan. Motion recorded as by Stacy Hessel; second by Mark Hellwig. Outcome: approved and advanced to the full county board.
- Bank loan resolution: Approved a resolution authorizing short-term bank borrowing for capital improvement plans not to exceed $2,177,558 with an estimated interest cost of about $32,000 at current quoted terms. Motion carried.
Where vote tallies were not recorded by name in the transcript, the chair declared each motion carried following the standard "All those in favor? Anybody opposed?" procedure. The committee proceeded to forward the budget package to the full county board for final action.
