Havre de Grace Board tables related hotel conditional use; ties rehearing to gas‑station supplemental materials
Summary
At the Nov. 6 hearing the board tabled Case 557 (a hotel conditional use related to the same Green family property complex) and directed the applicant to provide the same conceptual/site materials requested for the gas‑station case so both items can be considered together.

The Board of Appeals also tabled a second conditional‑use request (Case 557) — for a hotel use on a Green family parcel — and indicated it would carry that matter to the same continued date as the gas‑station application. The board said it wanted consistent conceptual materials to evaluate cumulative impacts and compatibility across the parcels that are being developed under the single concept plan and Annexation Resolution No. 277.
Eric McLaughlin, attorney for the applicant, indicated he would incorporate the staff report and provide whatever conceptual materials the board requests. Board members asked for a similar level of information as for the gas station: a site concept showing approximate building location and access, a traffic concept and an assessment of visual buffering and noise/lighting mitigation. The board directed staff to include the hotel matter in the supplemental information request and to re‑notice the continued hearing.
