Centreville council donates $100 to Legacy Foundation for candlelight tour

She said half the proceeds would go to the historical society with a portion to the arts council.
Councilors discussed whether the town should give funds directly to the historical society or to the Legacy Foundation as a pass‑through; a motion to donate $100 directly to the Legacy Foundation passed by voice vote. Council members and staff offered to help promote the event and explore in‑kind support and sponsor connections.
