Procurement opened RFQ000744 (unarmed security services) part A — qualifications only — and noted a large field of qualifications from vendors including InterCon Security Systems Inc.; Vets Securing America; First Duty Staffing and Security; Urban Development Solutions; Abacus Corporation; Allied Universal (Universal Protection Service LLC); SAFS Security LLC; United Security Agency LLC; Metropolitan Police Protection and Security Services LLC; and Metropolitan Protective Services Inc. Several vendors either included pricing inside their qualifications or did not supply a sealed part B envelope; those submissions were referred to the Department of Law and the requesting agency for determination.
The clerk announced two scheduling changes: DPW contract 1413RR (Lake Montebello dredging) will open Dec. 3, 2025, and procurement FQ000754 (street and park tree inventory) will open on Nov. 19, 2025.
