Commission approves rezoning from OM to CH for office-warehouse site

The Tulsa County Planning Commission approved a rezoning request to change a parcel from OM to CH to permit an office-warehouse-style development at a site currently used for surface parking.
Staff reported that the land-use plan designates the area as employment and that CH zoning for small warehouse/office uses would be consistent with that designation. "The proposal is to do an office warehouse development at this location," staff said, and recommended approval.
Applicants said they agreed with staff. Commissioner Bulmash moved to approve pursuant to staff recommendation; Commissioner Hood seconded and the motion carried with no named opposition recorded.
Staff noted the site currently serves nearby uses as surface parking and that the proposal conforms with the county's employment policy for that corridor.
